Committed People Are More Successful Than Comfortable People

Only The Ones Who Are 100% Committed Find Success

Are you committed to your success? Let me tell you about people who are not. Every once in a while, someone will come up to me and say, “Hey Chris, it’s really cool what you are doing. I wish I could do that,” Or, “I have had this dream or desire in my heart that I wanted to go after, but I never did.”

And my question to them, is WHY?

I can count the different responses on one hand. It’s always a version of one of these reasons:

  1. Well, I started the business but then ______ happened and I needed the money for _____.
  2. I’m nervous about taking such a risk! What if it doesn’t work?
  3. I don’t know…it’s hard to find the time to do _____ when you have a family to take care of.
  4. Well, I feel guilty because I already have a good job, and we both know that a good job is hard to find!

Are you getting the picture? These people come up to me, tell me that they wish that they could have what I have, achieve what I’ve achieved, but then they give me a list of excuses for why their dreams will never work.

They say NO to their dream before they’ve even given it a chance!

Which Mindset Are You Right Now: Being Comfortable or Being Committed?

Basically, what it boils down to is the fight between two mindsets: being comfortable, or being committed.

You see, the people who are committed in life will go after the dreams and desires in their hearts. At all costs.

Even if it costs them everything, they lose everything, they start from scratch. They’re still going to go after it. Does that thought make you uncomfortable? It should.

But being out of your comfort zone is what starts you on the path of doing, not just dreaming. The people who are comfortable in life tend to dream about the things that they could have had out of life. When you’re committed, you chip off little pieces of your goals every day, and that creates the life you want.

When you are committed, you create your dream. It’s as simple as that. You can tell the people who are committed because of the actions and the steps they take every single day of their life. They’re the ones who actually get out of life what they truly want.

Take Action Today Instead of Dreaming about what Might Have Been

So I encourage you: go after your dream and stay committed at all costs. It’s worth it!
