An executive producer generally handles the financial piece of it. It could be funding the film
It could be raising capital for the film.
Down to the connections to the A-list actors
Or the people that are attached to the project. It could be the relationships Its pretty much all of the above
So the contracts between a lot of the individuals
they will do that as well.
As an EP you are able to work multiple projects
You can be onset all of the time. Where as a producer
is there from the beginning that is actually in charge of making the production
complete. Where as an EP
I do I make sure that we get the project going
and up off the ground and the biggest piece is
Money… to get that. Because that is the thing that filmmakers struggle with is actually raising the money.
